Honkai Star Rail Boothill’s Best Team Composition
Boothill’s damage in Honkai: Star Rail depends a lot on his Break Effect stat, so he doesn’t benefit as much from attack bonuses. When picking a buff support for Boothill, look for someone who can boost his Break Effect, Speed, and maybe Critical Rate. Ruan Mei is a perfect choice because she can boost both Break Effect and Speed.
Adding a debuff support to Boothill’s team to weaken the enemy is also a good idea. Silver Wolf and Pela are great for this because they can lower the enemy's Defense. A sub-DPS character can be useful too, especially early in the game, with Boothill focusing on single-target damage and a free-to-play character like Herta handling multi-target damage.
For healing or shielding, any character can work, but Gallagher is the best choice. He can heal, increase Break Damage on enemies, and lower their attack power.
Here are two examples of the best Boothill teams:
Best Boothill Team:
Boothill | Silver Wolf | Ruan Mei | Gallagher
In this team, Ruan Mei boosts Boothill’s Break Effect and Speed. When Boothill breaks an enemy’s Weakness, Ruan Mei deals extra Break Damage and makes the Weakness Break last longer. Silver Wolf adds many debuffs to Boothill's target. If you don’t have Silver Wolf, you can use Pela or Welt, or another buff support like Imaginary Trailblazer or Bronya. Gallagher heals the team and boosts Boothill’s Break Effect damage.
Boothill Free-To-Play Team:
Boothill | Imaginary Trailblazer | Pela | Gallagher
If you don’t have Ruan Mei, Imaginary Trailblazer is a good Break Effect support for Boothill. When an enemy’s Weakness is broken, Imaginary Trailblazer gets Energy back, letting them use their Ultimate more often to boost Break Effect. Pela weakens the enemies, making Boothill deal more damage. Any healer or shielder can work in the fourth slot, but Gallagher is the best choice because he boosts Break Effect damage and heals the team.
