Honkai Star Rail Kafka’s Abilities
Moving on, you need an understanding of how this Unit works. So let’s go over Honkai: Star Rail Kafka Skills! Please note that these might be subject to change before release.
Midnight Tumult - Kafka’s Basic ATK is a Single Target skill. It deals 50% of Kafka's ATK as Lightning DMG to a target enemy.
Caressing Moonlight - Kafka's skill is an explosive attack, causing lightning damage equal to 70% of Kafka's attack power to the target enemy, and lightning damage equal to 25% of Kafka's attack power to nearby enemies. If the targeted enemy is already talking a DoT, immediately deals damage equal to 100% of all DoT effects on the enemy.
Twilight Thrill - Her Ultimate is an AoE Attack that deals 36% of Kafka's ATK as Lightning DMG to all enemies. Enemies hit have a base chance of 100% to be Shocked and absorb 80% of the damage taken immediately. The shock lasts for 3 rounds. While stunned, enemies gain a Lightning DoT of 60% of Kafka's Attack at the start of their turn.
Gentle but Cruel - Her Talent is a Single Target onslaught. After an ally uses a Basic ATK on a Shocked enemy, Kafka immediately deals 75% of her ATK as Lightning DMG to that enemy. This effect can only be triggered once per round.
Mercy Is Not Forgiveness - Her Technique will immediately attack the enemy. After entering the battle, deal lightning damage equal to 50% of Kafka's attack power to random enemies, and all enemies have a 100% basic probability of electric shock for 3 rounds. It allows the wearer to deal 16% additional DMG to enemies inflicted with DoT. Increases the wearer's SPD by 4% per attack, up to 5 times. At the same time, the DoT received by the attacked enemy will increase by 20% for 1 round.
In the Name of the World - This is Welt’s Signature Light Cone, which you can get from the Permanent Banner or the Store. It increases the wearer's DMG against debuffed enemies by 24%. When the wearer uses a skill, the effect hit rate of the attack increases by 18%, and the attack power increases by 24%.
Eye of the Prey - Sampo’s Signature, which increases the wearer's Effect Hit Rate by 20% and increases DoT by 24%. Unfortunately, this one is all Gacha!
Fermata - Kafka's 4-star Cone of Light that increases the damage done by the wearer by 16% and increases the damage of enemies affected by Electric Shock or Windshear by 16%. This also applies to DoT. This one is very F2P, as it is purchasable from the Forgotten Hall Store.

Honkai Star Rail Kafka’s Best Teams
As a Nihility unit, Kafka excels at debuffing foes, reducing their overall powers, and dishing out damage. She can deal both Single-target and AoE Damage to inflict enemies with Shock, which makes them take Lightning Damage each turn. Therefore, she is at home as a Sub-DPS who weakens enemies, making the way for your Main DPS to swoop in for the kill.
Thanks to her ability to do Shock damage over time and her Attack-scaling skills, she can even work as a solid Main DPS as well. As such, we recommend putting her on a Tea with other Characters who deal with DoT, like Sampo, Jing Yuan, and the upcoming Luka!
Honkai Star Rail Kafka’s Best Teams
Almost any Kafka team works, as long as there’s another Damage dealing unit, Healer/Shielder, and Buffer/Debuffer. Here are some examples;
Kafka, Serval, Bailu and Silver Wolf
Kafka, Jing Yuan, Natasha, Gepard
Kafka, Luka, Luocha, Gepard
In Conclusion
That’s everything you need to know about Kafka Honkai: Star Rail! Bear in mind that this Character has yet to be released, so there’s a lot that can change. So show some flexibility in your preparations!
